Meeting someone

• Keep the first meeting in a public place, in daylight if you can.
• Tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting.
• Do not share your address, workplace, or travel documents in the first conversation.
• Advice in the app is another member’s opinion. It is not a visa ruling, a medical instruction, or a guarantee that a place is safe.
• If something feels wrong, leave. You do not owe a conversation.
• If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services before you contact us.

In the product

Chat starts only after a person accepts your request. You can block someone from the conversation. You can report a member, a message, or a tip from inside the app. Reports go to review. We can remove content, suspend, or ban. We do not promise to share the outcome of someone else’s case with you.

Destination rooms are opt-in. They are still moderated under the same standards as private chat. A room is not a place for threats, scams, or sexual content involving anyone under 18.

Advisors

Advisor is a reviewed role for one city: government ID plus proof of being there. Approval means we checked those materials. It does not mean we supervise that person day to day, and it does not mean they are still standing in that city. Company is only offered when their current place matches. Treat every meeting as a meeting with a stranger.

Child safety

Farmiglia is strictly for adults 18 and older. Minors may not use the service. We have zero tolerance for:

• Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): uploading, requesting, sharing, or describing it in order to obtain it.
• Grooming, including building trust with a minor for a sexual or exploitative purpose.
• Sexualizing anyone under 18, including drawings or roleplay presented as a minor.
• Trying to contact a minor for a sexual purpose, on or off Farmiglia.
• Lying about age, or helping a minor past the age gate.

If we find this, we:

• Remove the content.
• Ban the account.
• Report to the relevant authorities where the law requires it, including NCMEC where that applies.
• Preserve the information needed for that report.

To report: use Report in the app, or email [email protected] with the subject “Child Safety”. Include what you saw, the name on the card, and when it happened. Do not forward CSAM to us as an attachment if you can describe the report without spreading the material further. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local police first.

What else we remove

• Harassment, hate, threats, stalking, and blackmail.
• Scams, impersonation, and requests for money from someone you just met.
• Non-consensual intimate images.
• Spam and lead-farming.
• Attempts to evade a block or a ban.
